if POR.TRANSACTION is not present in AUTO.ID.START then payments cannot be authorized

Instead of generating FT ID as FTyyddd00001 (sequential number) T24 produces ID as FTyydddxxxxx. How can this functionality be switched off or on?

When we trying to create a new PD contract from PD.CAPTURE application, the NEXT.PD.ID field doesn’t get generated with PDPD followed by numbers whereas it is generated as PDPD followed by alphanumeric characters.
