Session Timeout in GUI Channel profile is not taking effect to Expire the Session in Channels?

While placing a single order for "Execution only" portfolio by giving Target nature as “Gross Amount”, after providing value for Gross Amount field, system throws an error “The quantity must be greater than 0”
